About Rochelle! My journey into electrolysis began over seven years ago, sparked by a personal search for lasting solutions and a desire to help others feel more confident and comfortable in their skin. Like many people, I struggled with unwanted hair and tried nearly every temporary method available—shaving, waxing, threading—only to be left with frustration, irritation, and little long-term satisfaction. Discovering electrolysis was truly life-changing. I was drawn to the fact that it’s the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal and that it works on all skin tones and hair types. But beyond the science, what really inspired me was how transformative the process could be—both physically and emotionally—for clients. I decided to turn that inspiration into a career. I trained rigorously, became certified, and began working professionally, dedicating myself to mastering the art and science of electrolysis. Over the past seven years, I’ve helped hundreds of clients—each with their own unique stories and goals—on their journey toward smooth, hair-free skin. What keeps me passionate about my work is the real, lasting impact I get to witness. How To Prepare? What To Do! Drink a lot of water during the full course of your treatment sessions and keep the treatment area well moisturized for best hair removal results. Try avoiding chocolate, caffeine and alcohol 24-hrs before treatment to promote further hydration. Always arrive to your appointment in good hygiene. If you have any health conditions that impact your skin, heart, blood or hair growth you should always consult your physician first. Always tell your electrologist the truth and disclose all health conditions when completing the forms provided. What Not To Do! Stop using retinoids at least 1-week prior to treatment. Refrain from applying make-up, deodorants or any other products that may clog the pores of the area being treated. Never bleach hair right before an appointment. The harder hair is to see the harder it is to remove. If you bleach in between appointments, allow enough time for your hair to grow back in so your electrologist can see your roots {approx 1/18” to 1/8”}. Stay out of the sun for at least 48-hrs prior to electrolysis treatment to avoid dilation of the blood vessels. RECOMMENDED Managing Pain & Discomfort : Apply a numbing cream as directed on the label before arriving to your appointment. You can buy it from the pharmacy or ask your doctor to prescribe one that’s a bit stronger. For added relief, take a pain relief tablet. Use as directed on the label. Avoid caffeine, alcohol & chocolate 24-hrs prior. Avoid treatment during menstruation because some women find they are more sensitive during this time. Shave If you are getting a dense area treated like the bikini/groin, or beard, shave the area being treated 3-5 days before your first treatment (depending on regrowth rates) to ensure all hairs being treated are in the Anagen, or growth, phase. Ensure regrowth is at least 1/8” to 1/4” in length. Learn more about hair growth phases » . Policies Late Arrivals: Please be on time for your appointment. If you are late, we may not be able to accommodate your full session. Cancellations & No Shows: We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Failure to cancel more than 24 hours in advance, or if client missed a past appointment without notifying our studio in advance, client will be required to place a credit card on file if a new appointment is requested. If this behavior is repeated a second time, the client’s credit card will automatically be billed for the full amount of the session scheduled. Payment Is Due At The Time of Treatment: We accept cash, major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Venmo.
